2017 BEST TASTING DRINKING WATER IN TEXAS EVENT
** Entrants may not have incurred any state or federal drinking water violations (MCL, monitoring, recordkeeping, etc.) during the previous calendar year.**

**All entrants are required to have an onsite representative attend the taste test and be available for photos. Failure to have a representative attend the contest may result in disqualification.
Location: Austin Convention Center – Competition will be in the Exhibit Hall from 1:45-3 pm on Wednesday, April 12.
Sample Drop Off: Samples must be provided no later than 11 am on April 12, 2017. Samples will be accepted between 8 am and 11 am the morning of April 12, 2017 ONLY. Samples will accepted at the Best Tasting Drinking Water Sample intake table located in the lobby of the Austin Convention Center.
Competition: Wednesday, April 12, 2017, 1:45 – 3 pm
Sample Delivery Information:
1. Water samples must be provided no later than 11:00 am on April 12, 2017.
2. You should provide TWO samples.
3. Each sample should be in a 1-liter container. While you can use any type of container you wish, the suggested use is a glass Teflon-capped container with no air at the top. Metal lids and plastic containers are discouraged.
4. Each container should clearly identify the name of the water system and the contact
**The winning water system will be announced immediately following the taste test. The onsite representative must be available at that time to receive the award and pose for photos.
