CURTIS SMALLEY ENVIRONMENTAL EVENT

The Curtis Smalley Environmental Event honors the legacy of Curtis Smalley. His contribution, leadership, mentorship, dedication to service and passion for the water industry left a significant impact. He was a driving force to include the environmental event as part of Texas Water to provide fellowship for colleagues and an opportunity to give back to the community.

This year’s Curtis Smalley Environmental Event will be held in partnership with the City of Houston Parks Department on Tuesday, March 18 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. We will be planting prairie grasses and wildflowers in Clinton Park, just East of Downtown Houston. Work gloves, tools, and supplies will be provided, along with light breakfast and refreshments. Just come prepared to get dirty helping restore prairie habitat in Houston.

Transportation will not be provided but parking information will be available closer to the event date. Let’s work together to help improve our natural environment.
